This canning jar becomes a floral container after decorating with chalk paint and a simple ribbon tie. The Halloween themed bird and pumpkin in a nest could also be added to a planter or floral arrangement as an accent.
Yellow rose designs are presented in two ‘vintage’ containers. One is a pottery basket; the second is a container created using chalk paint and vintage style ribbons and trim. The roses are accompanied by mini white carnations, a few stems of garden lavender, and seeded eucalyptus.
Pottery planters from the 40’s and 50’s can make arrangements unique, yet carry out a theme: favorite animals, a special color, or a holiday.
The weather was beautiful when an outdoor bridal shower took place in late September. The bride’s color theme is dark purple with accents of lime green. Timing was perfect to create a centerpiece using a real white pumpkin from the farmer’s market.
Rose and Twig was pleased to design centerpieces for FIS’s IBS corporate picnic. Gerbera daisies in fall shades of yellow, orange and dark red were accented with spray roses and seeded eucalyptus.

Hydrangeas, sedum and Russian sage combine for an easy and natural bouquet. The vase is a chalk painted glass jar accented with a multi-strand ribbon.
Dish gardens containing succulents are easy to care for . . . dogs add personality . . . no fairy gardens here!
This centerpiece adds some glitter and light with a decorated container and a purple LED submersible light. We used Oasis foam inserted in a plastic cup which is in turn inserted in the glass bubble jar.
This is a simple glass ‘fish bowl’ covered with silver glitter and a bow. Mod Podge is an easy way to apply the glitter. Will use these with an arrangement done in a shallow dish, Oasis foam
